Lymphatic techniques are greatly helpful for clearing out a sluggish immune system. They specifically help allergies, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, influenza, pain, inflammation, edema, sinuses, and some types of headaches. Lymph techniques boost the immune system to facilitate general health.
In this class you will learn some of the key points of lymph drainage to detoxify the body. You will learn to first apply Dr. Vodders method of light rhythmic movements to drain the capillaries and veins, followed by deeper movements to also drain the muscles. You will learn where lymph points are located, how to pump up the system, a self-help exercise to jump start your own lymph system, indications for performing lymphatic massage, and what the benefits are. Hands on table time will focus on moving lymph in the correct direction with the correct pressure. Students will also learn the history of lymph drainage massage. A certificate of completion is received which can be used toward PA or NJ massage license renewal.
